When is there and where is there the next AH gathering. <S> SHawk. This is a great example of why we need to meet up routinely.

The AH Spring Meeting in Finland will be held in the near future. Due to restricted accommodation capacity we've announced about it only within the Finnish AH community. Depending on the activity a couple of slots may be available, though.

A few former players and I have been talking about having a small get together this summer. I’ll let you know what comes of it.

A walk down Memory Lane...
Back in the 2001 -2009 era there were annual AH Cons. Most took place in Grapevine, TX near HTC HQ. Always a blast with Skuzzy running around getting folks up & running, Pyro holding court with Dale during Q&A's, special speakers including WW2 vets, Robert "Mouse" Shaw who wrote Fighter Pilot; Tactics & Maneuvering. Saturday night included a banquet followed by "EVIL CON MISSION" :devil :noid :rofl :joystick: Attendees were treated to goodies like RV-8's with Vulcan cannons, Klingon like starships with laser guns, Sheep that fired 4 50 cals per side (try upping from a runway with 100+ sheep firing at you!) and a few other gems I've forgotten. Dale was known to imbibe a swig or 2 of single malt Scotch and everyone had a blast. Numbers ranged from 90 - 150+ Definitely some fun & memorable times.

Lol. I made a big post here and talked to my wife about it and she wasn't a fan.
I'm curious how many people have access to RVs if there was a location that you could bring RVs to?

AKs did a gathering at the Dayton Airshow in Ohio, as fate would have it, we met the Regulators at the table literally next to ours. That was a lotta fun, I'd be down for another air show! :cheers:

Dam Fat Finger syndrome!!! I had an entire Post for trying to make something happen in Pa 2026 for WW2 Weekend it is held always like Religion the First weekend of June...... Reading Airport is where this happens ,,, I know about 10 players from Pa and Nj who might come . Friday is Fly in day and other events. Saturday and Sunday Ground Battles Air Show Rides in the Planes .. About an hr and a half from Reading there is Willow Grove that used to be a very active base where the a-10s where housed but they have a small museum which also housed the Only true German 262 but that was relocated down to Virginia I think so they could use it as a template to make more So if anyone is ok with 2026 I could reserve the inside hall of my gun club or the outside which is 100 bucks more for a day . Same deal pay for boozse and we can bring and make our own food......

Omg that sounds awesome Mols! I'm definitely down for that, might just go this year with the wife to check it out. Thanks for the information and God willing we can have this event in 2026!

Been to the WW2 Weekend a number of times, met a number of players there as well. They put on a great show and the food is pretty good too!

The Last time I went they were supposed to have a P38 and 109 fly up from Virginia but due to weather they did not make it .
