Title: Zoom Toggle

Sometimes I like a bit of zoom-especially trying to hit a ground target. I hit toggle zoom, zoom out quite a bit from the default via the bracket key and I'm good to go......until the next session when I have to find that perfect zoom setting all over again. Is there a way to lock my favorite zoom setting as zoom default?

I always thought it was where ever you left it during that session. Once you log off then back in it defaults to where ever HTC put it. I alway double check it before I get into a spot I will be using it. Each plane is independent so watch that as well.

Thanks, Fugi. Yeah, been testing this evening and you're exactly right as usual. At least it's an easy adjustment.

If I recall correctly you should be able to save the zoom position with the f10 key or whatever the key was to save the view positions. I know there is a way to do this because I had the same problem but fixed it. I think it was setting the zoom position and then saving it as you would when you change the views.

Maybe there's a default zoom setting or a zoom toggle setting? I know it there is a way to fix it but can't recall exactly.

Head position is different than the Zoom settings iirc. What I have done is setup 2, 4 way switches on my Throttle. Switch A is setup for Zoom Toggle, Zoom In, and Zoom out. Switch B is setup with Zoom Default.

If you put zoom on an analog controller, wheel or lever, it will stay where you set it.

I have zoom toggled to a button on my throttle and the zoom in and out action on a wheel ...all zoom  will reset once game is shut...but I actually like that since I just use the wheel to zoom in and out...would hate to have a completely zoomed in view, forget about it, and eat dirt as I try to jabo  :cheers: :salute
