Their package delivery is horrible. Not uncommon to have a package sit at the sorting center for days then it gets misrouted to the wrong post office then it be sent back to the sorting center where it sits again for several days. The one in st Louis is notorious for delays

Since coming up to the in-laws for 2 to 4 weeks at a time we have our mail stopped.

Wife still gets email from usps showing what would be delivered..95% crap..

We could get by with once a week, probably every 2 weeks delivery these days as most bills are automatically paided and or email notifications then paid electronically..

Think it's a great doge reduction possibility imo

That or up the rates by 600% they charge to deliver this crap in order to knock down the overwhelming amount that's delivered. Make it hurt to send junk.

What they did doesn't control what is sent, however it can affect timing of delivery.
I had someone mail me a check, took 2 weeks to get here from one county away.

Still getting heaping waste of paper ads from businesses tho.

There could be an express service for important mail or use FedEx like most businesses do to insure it's delivered..

It's gotta stop, like Amazon sending you a salt and pepper shaker in a 12×12×12 box and the can of deodorant in an even larger separate box..choosing your delivery day doesn't reduce the pile of boxes, just has them all stacked up on one day instead..

I guess they think they own the entire Amazon rain forest for their shipping needs...

Haven't heard any greenies complaining about this obvious abuse of resources...

USPS has seen it's heyday imo..should be downsized in the coming cuts even if it causes pain in the beginning..

No idea how the USPS is the culprit in this latest b***h session. They get paid to deliver this junk. It's the advertising department of businesses that create these junk fliers. Maybe direct your ire to the businesses that apparently have a large advertising budget.

oh.. and don't forget to recycle all that junk paper.

Usps says they are super broke, but keeps raising rates for packages. I.know they are closing and consolidating sorting centers into the mess they are now, then can't understand why they are so overloaded and overwhelmed

Who's b*tching? besides you lol..Just trying to get a conversation going..

We recycle everything..though after watching the news I have my doubts it doesn't end up in the landfill anyway..

I don't think junk mail can support the $$$ it costs to deliver it when all the costs are added up

I don't think it's worth the cost to the taxpayers as there are other more efficient options these days

We ship and receive a lot through USPS. Their priority flat-rate prices are way better than UPS or FedEx,  and regular mail is still needed.

I spent a week cabling the postal rate commission building and noticed only one person doing any actual work.
The rest socialized with coffee cups in hand.
This was in 1984 so it’s likely gotten worse.

Any government building..

The job numbers manipulation caused by hiring duplicate useless government positions has stopped..compare one month to 12 above..

Oh I know.    I wired buildings in the early 80s all over DC.

I got back to cabling with in 1999 for AVS inc. on sullyfield circle in Chantilly very near the 1994 AW con.

My last cabling job was the Naval Conference center in the pentagon a few months before 9/11.

There is a huge amount of dead weight in washington.

Before recently, you really could not get fired from a government job by not performing any work.

That's changed and many are on the bubble because "the two bobs" from office space asked what they do at work.

I know that employees of the Government are looked at as some kind of vermin. But comsider for the moment that some 20 year old computer wiz kids (who know sweet F'ALL about your job and skillls) and are led by a very rich oddball that makes millions off the Government, are about to come in to your place of work and decide on your continued employment.

Sorry but at this point all positions should be needed if not critical at this point to justify it...

Good severance packages are being offered

Hoping all government costs are examined with a microscope including the USPS..

People who make bad decisions for themselves, will make worse decisions for you.
Dunning-Kruger Effect and when good people don’t stop bad things.

Most can’t go into any amount of detail past a one-line talking point, an article title, or word of one single man. Refusing to listen to anyone else at all cost.

Saving face is now the end game.

So, you're a fan of government status quo.  Got it.

No one is, and thats the half-truth. Its how its being done is the issue, with hate and disregard,  burning down a house to kill one cockroach. Crushing livelihoods and families and laughing about it. The sociopathic cruelty is not saving as much money as harm done, topped with now those people are in unemployment, and twitter brain is paying his crew 6 digit incomes from the its they illegally dumped on. They are nowhere near what they claim.

Am I fir the status-quo? Absolutely NOT. Karma us one nasty beast, I have time

Why do THEY want you to obsess about DEI, Immigration, our allies, wars,…. Because they have no plan to help YOU. But damn THEY are raking it in. Thoughts to pounder

You can spin, exaggerate, or even lie about this any way you like, but at the end of the day, what your side fears is a shrinking government with oversight (less power) and a stop to illegal immigration (foiling the democrat's attempt at creating a new voting block).  Add to this a blackeye to the democrats if major fraud is eventually found within the party.
