Hell Let Loose

A FPS that's WWII based yet not a fast twitch variety-more suited for the middle-aged man that just wants to get an hour or so of gaming in-or more if he wants. Prepare to die a lot yet without all the toxicity of the fast-twitch first person shooters. Arenas are usually 100 person in size with multiple roles you can fill. It's heavily team-work based and a headset is pretty crucial.

Valheim, Duskers, Kerbal Space Program (1 not 2).

It's very easy to lose track of time in Valheim and KSP. Play Duskers at night with the lights down low.

If you've never played Kerbal Space Program there are many good tutorial videos. Scott Manley made a bunch of excellent ones over the years.

I didn't bother with the career mode in KSP. Straight to the sandbox. Getting to the Mun and back was my first priority. Then building space stations. Then getting to other planets and back. If you ever wanted to learn about orbital mechanics without the math this game is for you.
