I saw the setup. One thing to add maybe, remind the axis the long barreled pnzr4F is the appropriate version over the short barrel. I think it defaults to short barrel.

I did not know that Shane that we could change the barrel length or can it be changed .

Tried vr in a tank last night and the view from the main gun doesn't seem to work?
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

It might be something simple like moving your head forward to an eye piece to look through, but I havent used VR in a tank yet. I know in a bomber you have to look down to look through the bomb site.

Yeah, it took me a while before I figured it out since the short barreled options are the last 3 of 7 loadouts. I'm probably wrong in that it defaults to the short barrel, so it should be good to go.

It was like the view was super close up with the mouse dot being this huge orb..
I'll try to lean into it tonight and see if it gets better
Thanks

Similar to popping out the speed and climb rates on planes, there's a "vehicle armor" line to click that gives this data on penetration and armor protections.

If you wanted a real "early war" ish tank matchup, use the short barrel (even for both sides) alongside the 75mm M3 and M8.

Wow, I can mark this as a successful day in that I have learned something new. :rock

(Now you know why I had been vocal about mis-matchups, particularly the T34/85 vs Panzer4H :aok )
This is also why the early 75mm sherman struggles against the Pzk4H (look at armor): the 76mm sherman is the more appropriate mathcup vs the pzk4H while the 75mm shermans are more suitable vs the pzk4F long barreled.
Compare the armor and shell penetration values.

:aok I would like that. By M3 I assume you mean M4 ? The Sherman was a very successful tank in mid war. I think a match for the contemporary Panzer 4.
My experience of the Firefly is even at modest ranges it is not a Tiger or Panther killer in ah which I do question.
I agree it might well have been slow to load and a bit inaccurate but a 17lb hit on the above I would have thought a kill most of the time.

No, by 75mm M3, I mean exactly that (same gun, tho'). On a similar note, this M3 version, alongside the Hetzer - jagpanzer 38(t) - can also kind of represent early war field artillery (anti tank guns) in that there's no turrent traverse and on some maps, mobility is not always a factor in that you can park and still get a lot of action.
