Maybe they could recruit pilots among the kids that fly their own radio control airplanes.
Maybe the games we play are just training the AI models and the data gets piped straight to DARPA?
:rock
Maybe you have the imagery to real-time photogrammetrically map a real battlefield in to a games representation of targets and drones and let live players on the internet play a "Game", which is really just controlling drones over a real battlefield and rendered as a "game" to the players as just a game content?
You'd just need to geo-fence it well. ;)

Every Air Force in the world right now should be paying close attention to what Ukraine just did to Russia. Defending your multi-million/billion dollar aircraft sitting helplessly on the ramp should be of prime concern.

Imo, building and flying drones should be a course in high school. They will be extremely valuable in the future. It also teaches great skills about how electronics, servos, ESCs, and transmitters work. Far more valuable than Shakespeare if you ask me... It would be genius to have a group of 100s of thousands or even millions of kids and adults with drones locked away in a secret facility controlled by the airforce that could be utilized in case of emergency war, where they could be summoned and take them off from that location from the comfort of their home set up. It would be incredible and extremely effective, though would perhaps need training and quarterly checks ins online.

Future of war..
More high $$$ toys to create and explode..less military dead, maimed and POWs..
How about just skipping up war evolution ladder to this..
