53 kills in the I-16 is impressive, even just for flying the I-16 enough to get that many.  Not a plane you see everyday.

I would like to see a tour where any plane with over 125 kills the month before is removed from the current tour forcing the better players into new planes and gv's thus changing the way the entire game flows for that tour..

Amazing how many hours and kills some of these guys have and yet still flying the easiest trainer modes in the game way too much.   :rolleyes:

Good way to lose players. IMO, don’t tamper with makes players happy enough to be here. Never taketh away.

Now you made me curious what my highest bomber damage in a tour ever was. Turned out to be 59 million points in tour 189, in 50 hours of flying time. Player #2 in that tour also had 41 million points. Glancing over a few more tour scores of that era, it seems like 32 million points are actually kinda low for a #1 spot in that category.

It used to be, things get lost as I go back to a previous post to steal the format again, like I forgot ZE's Swedish category again since I stole from tour 303's format. How did you get your list of top 7?  Just go to the obvious bomber pilots and manually check them?

Not playing in the MA, how would I know who the 'obvious bomber pilots' are ion a given tour?  ;)

I just grab the scores of every pilot (with at least 1 kill or deathj) and sort them by the desired category

I mean how else could I have come up with all these MA stats "average kill/hour", "total base captures" and so on over the past 14 years?  :old: :D

Excursus:

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that ‘Bomber Damage Points’ are not directly related to the actual damage done. Two pilots can actually have destroyed absolutely the same number of town buildings, but received totally different damage score points for it.
This is because, for some reason unknown to me, larger bombs score more points per object, and significantly so. I only found this out because I logged all my bomber missions in detail for many years and noticed this as an inconsistency. Tests in a custom arena confirmed this.

Incidentally, this applies not only to bombers, but also to vehicles. Anyone can easily test this themselves: Take a T34/85 or M4/75 and destroy a shore battery, for example. Then do the same with an M16 - you will realise that you have received considerably fewer damage points than with the T-34

Are you able to share how I can compile that kind of data?  It would probably save a ton of time for compiling these types of monthly score posts and allow new categories.  Looks like im unable to PM you.

Looks like a spread sheet. Excel should be able to do it.

It is, but how do you get all the data to fill in that spread sheet? I dont think he sits there and query's the server for each player. I'd like to know how he gets the data too.

Did you guys not know Snailman is a Cyborg collecting data on us? Those pie charts don't fool me  :D

For the pilot scores, it's just two small python scripts to scrape the data: One to get a list of pilot names from the plane stats, the second grabs the scores. I actually learned a bit of python for that back in 2010/2011. It's not that hard (else my foggy ADHD mind could not have done it), and today I guess it's pretty simple by using AI.

He is deadly in that thing. IMO, he is the best tanker in the game right now. But everyone has gotten substantially better over the last 3 years except me.  :bhead

The biggest issue in tanking right now is the need for multiple shots to kill another tank.
