I remember years ago one Christmas eve our amazing host made everything perk free and somehow made everything available, we even had worbles on CV's. That was fun.
I think it would help keep gameplay fun, and numbers up if at random times everything became perk free.... I also think it would be fun to have everything available from time to time.
I have also heard rumors that there are some fantasy aircraft, I believe one was called the wedge... I have never seen anything like that.. maybe that can pop up sometime?
Im just trying to add a little spice to the summer slow season.
Thoughts? Comments?

That is an excellent idea Todd. Hope HT can be implemented so we can attract new pilots.... Especially using the 4th of July as a platform... :salute

Those who attended the HTC Dallas Cons back in 2000 - 2009 were privy (as were anyone playing on that infamous Saturday night during "EVIL CON MISSIONS" had a front row seat) to a number of diabolical schemes. They included flying sharks with laser beams, ground based sheep that were equipped with 6 50 cal machine guns, RV-8's with 20 mm Vulcan cannons, Klingon space craft...the list went on and on. Needless to say, the players on the receiving end of these things weren't always happy...the tears and whining were EPIC :devil

How about having the game free to play on the first day of every month?
Maybe a few strangers (or retired vets) would get interested. Put out a twitter post to announce it every month.
And how about free perk rides on the last day of every month?
Pilots without the time or skill to rack up perks would get a chance to try them out.

I was there Max and it was Epic. I flew my RV-8 with vulcans to another base and kept it in a hanger for later. They were so much fun. :rofl :devil

I remember shooting down one of the RV-8's I think with a Spit, and got like 100 perks. Needless to say once it got out, the perk fest started. (I was not the first)
