Just completed this model of the B-26K Counter Invader. Loved the kit, but it was a pain in the but to build.
Finished in time for the regional IPMS show and was surprised to take home Best in Category (Airplane) with it.

The B-26 Marauder was retired from service shortly after WW2 ended, while the A-26 Invader remained.
The US Air Force did away with the attack designation in 1947 when they became their own branch of the military. Therefore, the A-26 was redesignated to B-26. Similar to how the P-51 became the F-51.
