Beautiful.

Those things look so dainty compared to a Jug or Corsair.

Ya, the later models looked much more intimidating to me. I just thought that it was really cool that they just got this one flying and it has the original engine. Not sure if you saw it to the end but it shows that it was made in 1939.

Yeah.  You'd be lucky to see one fly in real person in your lifetime.  Their almost all gone.

Because they were..

Between the 109e and the 110 of the day we should all be grateful for the insanity called German Air command or else BOB probably would have had a different ending..

More info ..see 5:30 for answer..

Göring was definitely not respected by Galland and the fighter guys. They referred to him as: "The fat one"

Something the size of a jug ought to be coal-fired.

The huge turbocharger accounts for much of the size of the Jug.

Holy jeeze.  That's what's inside a jug?  lol  That's insane.

I wish a person was standing there for scale.

Yep, the General Electric B series turbocharger is a monster, it's complex and expensive, and RPM limited. Very few are actually in use. Many warbirds just have empty shells. Or simply nothing.
