Title: I saw the numbers were over 100!
Post by: hazmatt on June 30, 2025, 06:59:31 PM
I logged on to my newly created account (since my accounts and all of my kids account were deleted by HT) and I saw the numbers were over 100 online! That's good stuff for the middle of the summer. I also noticed in another thread that more then 5 players had returned recently. Maybe it's a positive trend?

Of course it is!  Glad you're back to make it 101.

Use the telephone.  Dale is rumored always to be responsive.

Remember it's Texas, so there is a late time zone, definitely-not-climate-change-related storms and temperatures, brain-eating amoebas, and other factors that might delay a prompt response.

Maybe not in this case as described... there is/was a recent player HazMat, whereas HazMatt used to go by HazMatt - so a call to free up his HazMatt should get it done.  Between 10am - 3pm CST is generally best time to reach him.

I grew up in Dallas and later lived about 14 years in Allen Tx. After almost 17 years in Idaho we're back in Texas. Near the border with Oklahoma and I gotta say the weather this close to OK is a lot rougher than 50 miles to the south. Those aren't wine cellars in their backyards in OK.

I saw there was 97 players on for a while last Friday or Saturday. There were, also a hand full of old returning players I noticed.  :salute

It's not unusual for it to be around 100 at 9pm eastern

It's still more about the map as even with those numbers its allot of two sides going at it while the 3rd side twiddles its thumbs flying two sectors to their fight..

Temping to jump back in.  Remember when the player count was in the 700s?  Those were the days.  Had to split up the arenas lol.  Hope you all are doing well.

8p-9p CT is peak hour. Rarely below 90, two nights this week were 100-115.

I dunno where some get their numbers, but they are lowballing it. Maybe when they login, as it grows. Last night was 85-90.

Because of some antics here we dropped 50% in one year., 200-100.

Good to see you again, Mak!  C'mon back.  With smaller numbers you get to know people better, and less (OK, well, noticeably less) irritating smack talk.  More like a family, with all that implies.  You'll like it.

Pretty interesting to have so many people coming back during the summer. Maybe it will continue through the winter?
