Title: Perk points reset
Post by: Mister Fork on July 11, 2025, 10:29:57 AM
I know a lot of you are going to hate this...

Perk points should reset after 90 days. Meaning, you have a running total of perk points for 90 days. So if you earn 10 perk points on Day 1, and another 100 up to day 90 to a total of 110. On day 91, your perk points (if you haven't used them) are now 100.

Kinda like expiring airline miles.  :D

And if you haven't flown for 90 days, they all go to zero.

I think they should reset no matter what for each tour. Of course I dont bother too much with perk planes or tanks, but I think it would bring out some of the hanger queens making fights just that little bit more interesting.

Setting it so it wipes the slate clean each quarter (3 months) would give the newbies a bit of a chance to earn enough perks for a jet, or tiger now and then, so Id be ok with that too.

In most games you can buy perk points/game currency but in a subscription model I think your subscription fee should be based on how many perk points you have saved up.
Something like:
$15 a month up to 1000 perks saved
$20 a month up to 5000 perks saved
$25 a month up to 10000 perks saved
continuing up to $50 a month for unlimited perks.

So the end of the month is just dweebfest?

I think the idea of perking all of the late war planeset would accomplish more.

Don't we already have this?

All I did, was take a short 6 year break and Hitech erased the 70,000 fighter perks I had saved up.  :bhead

It's an outrage!  :old:

Yes please!

EDIT: (Per Research: ChatGPT)

The Bf 109F-4, introduced in 1941, upgraded the engine-mounted machine guns to two 13mm MG 131 heavy machine guns (sometimes mistakenly referred to as 12mm).

Just having a two 13mm MG would be great!

ChaptGPT is wrong there. The G-6 was the one introducing the MG 131 instead of the MG-17. The F-4 upgraded the engine gun from MG 151/15 to MG 121/20
