also Rook flak towers, atleast at the Troop Strat (165, 166) are not firing at Knight bombers

Double checked everything, didn't notice anything wrong. :headscratch:

Interesting, I followed Avro in his B29s, he was a Knight, I was 5k below him and we flew directly over the flak bases twice, and he made more passes over the hour trying to get people to intercept him, saw no puffies. I have some video at home.

Very interesting considering I’ve taken puffy from the other side of a mountain with no direct line of sight on the flak base :frown:
-
Possible the bombers were so low, flak didn't activate?
I think if you fly under 5k (or so) you are safe from puffy. The towers always tear me up though
-
I usually do strat runs NOE to avoid the puffy. The towers will still F you up a bit but if you drop on them on your first pass it takes that away.

You are safe from puffy if you are less than 3k above the strat or base alt. He was at 32k

I could be speaking out of my 3rd point of contact here but I feel like I did a bombing run, maybe 6 months ago now, where I was at about 30k+ and did not receive any puffy ack. Again, I could be completely wrong but I think that was a real thing… I guess it’s time for the offline arena to test it out

just watched another Knight B29 fly directly over Rook AAA and Flak Base while I was in an 88 at the base, no puffy.

I have no answer for that Haggerty. I will bring up to Hitech, a film of would help I'm sure. If anyone has some.

You probably saw my 29s around the strats last night… Trust me there plenty of puffy going off…. The puffy actually killed one of my drones so I know it works and very visible
