I suspect those RC planes have significantly better HP/weight figures than our planes do.  Interesting to watch the tactics, though.

It came up in my yt feed. Made me think of AH. Furballer dance to the max, without the furball! It is something how fast they move around!

I designed and sold infrared combat units for gas RC planes.  When a plane was struck, it dumped smoke fluid into the hot exhaust.  Super cool.

Rising interest in electric planes back then ended that.

Control line planes is where I got started.  Voodoo was the model of the day.
