Title: Program that eliminates bushes
Post by: Maineac1 on October 30, 2025, 05:46:35 AM

Morning all..........!    Quick question.   What is the program or graphics settings that allows one to fly a plane into a gv fight and hit gvs that no other plane or tank can seem to find.?   I hear rumors of being able to manipulate the settings.

It would take a 3rd party program of some sort to manipulate the graphics card, there are no settings in game that would cause it.  If you see my bug post the other day the graphics glitch happens to me occasionally where a layer of the world seems to disappear, including trees/bushes.  I imagine some of these guys figured out how to cause the glitch and fix it at will.  When it happens to me it crashes my game shortly after.  It happened when I was tanking once and I could see the tank coming at me from miles away through hills and trees.  I just let him kill me because it wouldn't be right to shoot him.  You don't see the layers of hills in the way either so you'll get videos of people like DamPhyNo shooting at tanks they see but they are hitting the hill in front of them because they can't see it.

However, the player you were complaining about on 200 has always seemed legit to me in ground warfare as well as when he bombs.

Yeah,  I'm torn and rarely bark out.  I like to think I'm a pretty upbeat player that doesn't take the game too serious.    But to come in not once,  but twice...... kill multiple tanks each time without low passes or guidance (smoke) to find said tanks,  now makes me suspect of people having various advantages.

Some guys are just that good! I know BW1stpar rarely misses in his spit16. He can spot and kill with ease. No GV is really safe when he is around. I've used a couple of his films to show what he sees, and how he bombs for my youtube channel.

Yeah,   I hear it.  I'm not sure how hidden vehicle that are even missed by F1s flying low overhead are identified immediately by a higher,  faster plane.    The bombing I have no questions about.   Is it a graphics card difference,  how........how can you find 3 tanks in 1 pass all hidden go up 2k and come right back to them.   Some video cards show vast differences making it easier?    At this point,  I'm genuinely curious........  I want the education if there's one to be had

Vehicles can be seen moving very far away, I like to scan at a distance so they feel safe to move.  Often times they'll realize im in the area and stop, with enough experience you pick up methods on how to remember the bush or tree they stopped in.  Most tanks I bomb I dont see when im bombing them, I just know where they stopped.  I can also spot someone low and spend a decent amount of time climbing so that I can do an accurate strike without dropping too low.  This time spent makes the target think I magically went straight for them when I had already spotted them earlier, that triggers some people.

my computer is so old.   What is a really good video card to run?

its not a video card issue, but anything newer than a 3050 is overkill for this game.  With max settings I dont go lower than 120fps at 2k on a 3060.

A 5060 is about $300 these days.  The last two computers I didnt even build, these prebuilts have gotten so cheap that I cant save money over building myself anymore.

I use. Nvidia RTX 3060 TI., capable of 300fps, but clamped at 80 or 120 fos (wasted heat at 300 fps) Runs like melted butter at 4k full detail.
Also, check you monitor highest res and refresh rate. You can by a great card just to bottle neck it all because the highest setting depends on highest res of the monitor.

If your monitor is say 1080, thats the highest you can set that monster 4k card at.

There is that, maybe Hitech could add a delay to films...... even just an hour delay before being able to view a film would be more than enough.

Being a 24-year Army Tanker veteran.

I can tell you once the main guns fire there's a lot of smoke, fire, dust and debris flying about.
Maybe once you fire your Icon should become more visible?

I have posted before I only know of three players that can find you no matter where or how long you have been hidden.  One player of the three is the best at killing hidden GVs.

Lusche is right on the filming, but these players fly in and drop their bombs without time to film and review.

I will note on one occasion an autoswitcher  used information from prior to the autoswitch.

God no.  The bush hiders made this enemy finding method the only viable option.

This is a tough question to answer without knowing what resolution you are running. If you're running flat screen at 1080p or 1440p I've had good success with something like an RX 570 that (I got for $49 refurbished on Amazon). If you're running basic VR or 4k flat screen you're probably going to want to step up to a 1080 (around $100 on ebay). I think for AH3 anything over that would probably be overkill. If you're running other games you may need more.

Another point to look at if you're going to upgrade your GPU: The last couple gens of Nvidia cards use DLSS and other smoke and mirrors in benchmarks to make weak hardware look like it performs better then it does. Look at the raster performance of the card to get it's true hardware capability.

And shooting in snow hides both you and target, no second shot ( Tank platoon commander veteran in the Arctic).

Same thing in the desert... No second shot because you can't see anything.

Always trained to never fire from the same spot anyway.  :salute

Good advice.    But 3 tanks destroyed had driven back to the area.   not the same spot.   Which made me wonder

but it is what it is I guess.......   some people are just "that good"
