We've lost Hombre, Dred and nearly Airjer in a short amount of time. Many others of us have ongoing issues I'm sure that we don't know about. Makes me reflect a little lately. I have been a member of this community since it was AirWarrior in the early 90s. Fresh out of the military, post op with a bit of a recovery ahead. Air Warrior kept me going with literally nothing but restricted bellybutton time to recover for about a year. Many players have left by choice, others passed away quietly that we don't know about. I'm just taking a moment to acknowledge this great group of aviation enthusiasts who are still here and others I hope come back one day. Enjoy the time together, enjoy the community. Don't take it so personal or serious. It's far from perfect but it's pretty cool. I'm not saying group hug and have a sing along. But get outside of yourselves once in a while and autoswitch. Meet some of these other players you only see in your gunsights or on your 6, they're great guys to chat and joke with. I've been enjoy that the most in game. I also am a believer the more players you fight 1 v 1, the better you get. So there's that.
I'll end with this. RAIN STILL CHEATS AND MUST BE STOPPED........ ;) See you other cheaters ( nod to Airjer ) out there...... <S>

I agree, for the most part I have never had an issue with anyone in this game. Sure a few discussions may have gotten a bit out of hand but I dont hate anyone in this group. I love this game and the players in it. It is the main reason I do what I can to help others, here on the BBS, my Aces High Help (http://75.138.186.96:8080/Aces_Help/Aces%20Help%20Page.html) page, and resurrecting the Fighter Comparison (http://75.138.186.96:8080/gonzo/ah_charts_2.html) page that "Gonzo" originally built. I have been working with the FMOD sound software, but dont think I will get too far until after the holidays. As well as the Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@AcesHighShorts) and Discord (https://discord.gg/yxyGqer2Bn) to try and promote the game more (which anyone of you can do by leaving links on other social media pages)
For the most part we have a pretty good group here. Even when there are issues in the game many work together to even things out. Like "Maineac1" said, "no group hug and have a sing along", after all I dont know you guys THAT well, its only been 20+ years :devil Just remember, its a game, have fun! <S>
