Cool pics Hristo, I checked them by right-clicking those Angelfire pics and copying address from pics properties to Explorers address bar.
Did you model those yourself ?

Just a curious Dumb Question.
What software does one use to model such aircraft???
I usually try to make something on AutoCAD :D .
And yes they look nothing like the real stuff
POOR ME! ;)

Did those in 3DS Max, Staga. About 2 weeks of work ;).

wow!! I want 3DS Max!!! lol, like I could ever afford it. :D
-
what sort off software does one create that 262 in.it puts the AH to shame

You really can't compare a screenshot from an online sim to a rendering done with a 3D modeling software.
Those pics took 1-3 minutes to render, each. Only one plane in view, no other objects. That would give a framerate of 0.02-0.006 frames per second. Now add in other planes, ground and gaming tasks that CPU has to do. Playable ?
Who knows, maybe in 10 years from now ;)

What's exciting is knowing that there will actually be in-game graphics that good in our lifetimes. :)
It makes me giddy! :)
