Hi All,
Living in an old house has it's problems and finally we decided the Windows just had to be replaced. The previous ones being original and now 104 years old. We decided to go for some nice shiny new double glazed ones and the Sales Rep suggested a small round window at the front centre of the house should possibly have a nice stained effect and he suggested a Rose, Yeah right!! :D Anyway after going through all the brochures and not finding anything we (I) ;) liked he finally said "Well you come up with something and we will make it". Enter the Aces High Screenshot.
OK. It looks more like an early "Fighter Ace" shot but I really it looks great when viewed from the road and it gets favourable comments from all who have seen it (Even Joanne - Who originally wanted "The Rose" thinks it was a good choice).

Wow...at first I just looked at the pic with out reading your post and I thought you've found some antique stuff there! :) You've probably read Fly Pasts and there's sometimes pictures of pubs, monuments and stuff and I remember seeing something on the same style as your spit in one of my Fly Past mags...IIRC It was a big decorated window with B-17s in it made with the same technique as yours! Looks great snafu...way better than a rose. ;)
