Well, according to that timeline, the Polish invasion does not count as being part of that conflict (September 39) nor does the Japanese invasion of Manchuria (June 36.)  Unbeknownst / realised by most, WorldWar2 lasted for over 10 years.  It was the greatest scale of a conflict that the World has ever seen.

It is best to remember the world's history, good and the bad, lest we be forced to repeat it.

60 years ago from this day, 25.6.1941, Russian bombers did bomb-raids to Finnish cities and airfields.
Reason was they wanted to bomb german planes in Finnish airfields, sad thing was Luftwaffe didn't use finnish airfields to attack russian territory.

After those bombings Finnish government made a conclusion that Finland was in war against USSR.

This is because the Russkies were in on it. They had a pact with their best buddy Hitler, and on Sept 17, they became the invaders as well. They are as guilty as the Nazies.

It only counts only when your butt is kicked.
