I was wonder what the plane was that attacked the u-boat when it was in the middle of the ocean, and what were the ones that attacked them in port? I just thoght it would be much easier to ask you guys rather than pausing it to find out myself :)
Thanks

Looked like T-6's on both occasions to me.

Cc, The Single engine planes look like T6's.
The ones who attack the harbor, are first single engined, T6's, and you allso get to see twins, Looks somewhat like mosquitos but not sure they are, anybody know?

I've got the DVD. Someone link me to a program that will let me get screenshots and I'll email them to someone.
(or just a program that will take screenshots of my desktop)
Anyway, Wilbus is right. First a single, single-radial-engined plane with slight dihedral on straight, tapered wings (and 2-4 MGs in them, and two firecracker-class bombs hanging underneath) attacks the sub. Then two of them fly low over La Rochelle (supposed to be La Spezia), There's also spliced in a piece of stock footage (so spliced and stock Wolfie P. calls it on the "director's commentary") of 11 twin-engined planes splitting overhead. They look like mossies to me.
