The acting... OH THE HUMANITY!!! It looks like an amateur B movie when you see Gay Anakin and The Queen yapping about love and other Dawsons Creek toejam.
And not to mention that now N*SYNC is going to play a cameo role on the movie.
Thank God for LoTR.
...the sad thing is, that like every other drone, I will see Episode II as soon as it comes out.

Man, I can grit my teeth through a goofy (elected??) queen and fricking jar-jar binks, but I'm with you guys. If nsync's in I'm out.

My understanding is that N'SYNC would, if at all, appear somewhere in the background of some scene in a Where's Waldo kind of cameo... sort of like the E.T.'s in the Senate in the first movie. It's also rumored that in that scene, they're blown away by battle droids.
Frankly, I'd love to see someone blow N'SYNC away.

Hell, if NSync was gonna get shot up in the scene, I'd have paid to have just seen that. It's kinda like Celebrity Deathmatch. You just watch to see people that suck get their clay faces kicked in. ;) Or when you see the good ol' Pepsi commercial where Michael Jackson's hair catches on fire. Ok, enjoying that is just a teensy bit wrong. :o My fault!
Well, if Lucas gives into fan pressure to not include NSync, maybe this means he's gonna kill Jar Jar in Ep II??? "Kill Jar Jar, Obi Wan, it's our only hope" (that people will stick around to see Ep III!) :D

Yeah. The trailer looks _bad_. Mark Hamill wasn't a great actor by any means, but this acting is atrocious. I mean Plan 9-caliber acting her.

The fact that Lucas would even consider putting NSYNC in the movie worries me.
Seen the Episode I DVD with all the background info? Lucas goes on and on about the dangers of going too far in any one direction and about the scenes that were deleted because they didn't advance the story.
Still... he left Jar Jar.
Twenty-five years ago, Lucas was on to something. Today, his movies are to science fiction what Sylvestor Stallone's movies were to boxing...

anyways i have high hopes for episode 2. we will see if it is good. anyways i bet the fight scene will be awesome.

It has been rumored that Jar Jar Binks does not make it to Episode 3. That to me is a good thing. Qui Gon Jin should have let him get his floppy eared butt get run over in the swamp. But then that would have not helped him in his teaching of Obi Wan would it?

This is gonna be the most expensive chick flick ever made.
Episode I sucked.Episode II will suck just as bad,if not even worse.
At least the first one had a good trailer(about the best thing about that movie) episode II`s trailer sucks.

I think I may be a lucas fanboi. I liked the episode 2 trailer and can't wait for the movie. I loved episode 1 too :) Granted it didn't have as much action that I wanted and I will allow that Jar Jar should have been squashed at the begining of the movie ;) but over all I thought it was a good movie with a good story.
and before you start discrediting me ;) At the age of 10 I had every Star Wars toy available, wait does that discredit me? :D

I'm with Udie. I liked Episode I even when I found some things wich could be better in it.
I've liked the episode 2 trailer, too. We all know there is going to be a love story behind the reasons why Skywalker falls into the Dark side, and that the love story will probably mean something between Amidala, Kenobi and Skywalker. So, why are you surprised to see that part in the trailer?...
About the actors, I like Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi,and I simply LOVE Natalie Portman (so I'm not objective about her role as Amidala :D). The new guy -I don't know him, so I can't say. But I'm sure Lucas will have chosen well.
If filming a love story is to make a "Chick movie" then "the Empire Strikes Back" and "The return of the Jedi" are also "Chick movies", for their romantic content was also quite high, and also involved two men behind the same woman ;).
This trailer could be better, but its OK. It gets me started and makes me want more. So it does what its supposed to do. :)
I'm sure there is one BIG surprise behind the prequels. I have heard and read some rumours and if they are true...well... :)
