Title: Which GeForce 2 Ti to buy?
Post by: Naudet on January 16, 2002, 03:55:46 AM
The most important attribute the new card i want to buy is the price.

I have now found the following alternatives all with the Geforce 2 Ti and &4 MB Ram:

neutral (or no-name) card

Chaintech G220

MSI G2TiPro-T (MS 8855)

Which one would be the best choice?

Thx in advance.

I know this isnt one listed in your post, but the Gainward GF3Ti200 is awfully popular.  You might check it out, you can pick it up for arounnd $175.

Toms Hardware Review (http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/01q4/011218/index.html)

This has a review of 21 Titanium cards (some GF2 Ti, some GF3 Ti 200 and some GF3 Ti 500).

It might help you decide on which chipset to get, and which manufacturer to buy from.   enjoy!
