Title: Cool FREE eBooks in pdf!!
Post by: Vector on January 19, 2002, 07:24:05 AM
 Naval Aviation Books Online (http://www.fleetairarmarchive.com/books/Audiobooks/E-Books.html)

Check it out. Lots of very interesting books like:
US Naval Aviation 1910-1995 (780 pages). Almost day to day history!
Dictionary of American Naval Aviation Squadrons (600 pages)
Naval Aviation Combat Statistics -WWII (140 pages)
All divided for separate downloads (chapters).

Some of them are originally purchased as a CD-ROM, but now available for FREE!!

I wish USAAF could have as good documented histories available as USN. If you have any good links on pdf's, post them!

Thanks widewing!

OK, now I got it! Your url is for us air force intranet and that's why I got all those little "CIA" pop-ups and black chevrolet suburban parked next to my house :)

Well, that url doesn't open for me. Tried "http://www.airforcehistory.hq.af.mil" too, but no go.

You have access there? Gimme yer password! :D

S!

Something strange here, but I managed to check it from work. Very good reading! Thx!
I just love Adobe Acrobat (not reader). Just put link to acrobat and it downloads anything you like and makes automatically pdf -file. For example USAF Combat Chronology; 1832 pages, 3 MB!Even all links work :)
