Anybody notice that shells fired from warships and tanks no longer ricochette off some phantom cloud layer?
It used to be the shells would make that nice ballistic arc, then all of a sudden do a UFO bank and fly toward the ground at a 45 degree angle in a straight line.
Now, the shells arc all the way downrange. That funky deflection is gone.
Thanks HTC.

The shells fly the exact same arc as they always have. But the smoke trail was change a while back, the smoke trail made it look like a change in direction.

Oh btw, the 40mm Bofors on the PT boat only has a tracer per 5 rounds (like planes) while the Ostwind still has one for every 37mm round.
I believe the Quad Bofors on the fleet are the same way?
