And this little PC went to heaven. After a year and 2 months of my Abit K7T-Raid ,1.0Ghz and 640MB of PC133 Ram my mobo decided to go to the Netherworld. Exactly what hapenned I don't know I do remember turning off the computer using the power button just as it booted,my brother took the modem cable and when I tryed to turn her back on nada. I dismantled her unhooked everything nothing either.
Either my PC cooked or my mobo chipset went I don't think it's the vid card since the motherboard turned on without Video Card anyway.
So now I must do this Can anyone recommend me a good XP CPU mobo combo W/ Ram for under $400 U.S.
Thank You,
P.S. Bloom I got my excuse now to upgrade :D

Dude, for $400, you could get just about the best Athlon setup you can think of.
I recently setup an FIC AD11 with a 1.4Ghz Athlon, and the board went without a hitch. We had tried before with an Asus A7A266, and it was a big mess... I know raub likes this board, but he even had a bunch of issues with it getting set up.
I have had good experience with boards from Gigabyte as well.
And remember to get DDR ram with your new setup :)

It's possible your bios got corrupted by losing power during bootup. You could try clearing the CMOS and attempting to flash it.

Well I found out what was the culprit thanks to Animal it was the Power Supply and then I think I turned the power on w/o properly securing my CPU Fan so it cooked tried, in a new PS and a Duron @600Mhz, and it worked like a charm since . It isn't cost effective to buy a new Tbird chip I am going through with the mobo CPU Ram upgrade anyhow, am looking for the new Epox Board 8HKA+ and a good case to go along with it all below 400 w/ shipping so if you may help me I'd be greatful

I think you should be able to find a combo deal on an Athlon XP with that Epox board. You'll also need some DDR ram, but buy this as soon as you can as prices are going up fast on RAM.
