The squad I was flying with ain't no more, so I've
found myself orphaned on Fri nights.
Looking through the list of squads, I found I
couldn't tell who needed any help and who didn't,
so I thought I'd post here and let ya'll help
*me* out. :)
I may be a particular amazinhunk, and a real sucky
pilot, but I do have a good attendance record,
so if you could use someone who will show up, send
me an e-mail at ott@ipa.net, and I'll help fill
out your ranks.

AN our guest slots are full, but if something opens up I will holler. If you want to give us a serious look because you are looking for a squad...

Daddog, Full? How many guests is a squad allowed?
-
The rules say "2", but I turn my head because I know some squads pick up pilots that way.
I have actually been thinking I ought to change it to 4 because when I have seen more than that I e-mail the squads. You can tell it is a rule I don't enforce at length becaue it means turning pilots away. For now the "unwritten" limit is 4.
Why limit the number of guests someone might ask? The most important reason is to encourage other squads to join the TOD. If one or two members of another squad fly and have a blast they will go back and tell their squads about it.

Thanks daddog. I guess I should clairify a little
bit, because the word 'guest' seems to mean a
little different to me than what the term
officially means.
I always considered myself a 'guest' of JV44,
because I'm not in their MA squad, but I guess
I wasn't really a guest, because I flew nearly
every frame with them.
Since they pulled out for awhile, I am looking for
another squad to start flying the
Friday TODs with. I know I like the TODs, and I
don't want to miss out on any of them--they're
my favorite thing about AH by far.
However, I don't really know any of the other
squads very well, so I'd like to
join one of them as a guest to see if I enjoy
flying with them, and see if they can stand me.
My main intention is to find one I can keep
flying with for quite awhile, without having to
join thier MA squad.
So be warned. If any of you agree to have me as
a guest, you'll play hell trying to get rid of
me in the future. :)

Tas is really short on pilots and would take you as long as you want.
Actually we'd take you even if we were'nt short.
