Did he just say they sound like green day? I think he did...
Lyrics were on the anti-flag site - angry, idealistic, and a bit naive - just like punk rock should be :) :
It's in the paper every day
You see it in the headlines and you feel so sick
As another life leaves this world - this world so full of hate - but short!
Short on compassion, short on humanity
Asking myself in vain, shaken by the shock…
"Do we even have a chance?"
chorus
I don't want to die
I don't want to kill
We are all human
It's time to prove it
This is a plea for peace (world peace)
To the oppressors of the world (and to…)
To the leaders of nations,
Corporate profit takers,
To the every day citizen
Greed, envy, fear, hate- the competition has to stop!
When you see someone down - now is the time to pick `em up
Set our difference aside and never look back!
chorus
I don't want to die
I don't want to kill
We are all human
It's time to prove it
Isn't everybody tired of the fighting?
Killing?
Dying?
Hatred?
Violence?

You guys may know the answer to this one.
My best friend's nephew is a B1 Pilot in an "unknown location" near the conflict (OK duh! its Diego Garcia, like we couldn't figure that out)
Point is I got a copy of a Mpeg movie he plays before missions to "get psyched". It is a montage of B1 stuff and the music in the background is very punkish. The lyrics start out:
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Who is this band? I kinda liked the song and I'm an old codger.
If I had a clue how to post it to a web site I'd share it with ya'll.

Yeah, I've had the misfortune of hearing that song...
It's one of those fancy-pants new "metal" bands. Dunno who.

HEHE anything post Slayer / Cliff Burton fits into that catagory. There hasn't been a good metal band in 20 yrs.
Tah Gut,
I love that song. No idea who it is though :(

20 yrs?
It's all been downhill since Led Zepplin!!!
