In the same chapter "Frenchy likes to give credits to his adversaries"... Award for today is LJKdern (thus the tittle).
Late night/early mornings, I often encountered him. I believe he's flying 109-G10. I need to congratulate his flying, he flies it by the book. It's pure boom and zooming, always going for the extra foot of altitude.
Flying the jug, it's a pain, as I'm rarely above him. Usually I can make 109 pilots turnfight and loose their E by tempting them showing my 6 in a long turn. Or after avoiding their attack for 10 min, they start to get impatient and screew up. But no, Dern, keeps B&Zming like a robot, till I'm low/slow and soon dead (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Wtg my friendly enemy!

He's a pain in the butt, aint he? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I'm usually on my 3rd death, and he's still on his first plane and first tank of gas lol.

Whenever I used to see a Jug I would think to myself "oh good- and easy kill" but now I know that it can be only be one person.... Frenchy. And its never easy and very rarely a kill at all. Im really impressed with your dedication and skill with that plane. You really know how to ride the envelope. I also admire your attitude Frenchy. Some of my most exciting dogfights have been with you. I have been known to turn-fight when the opportunity presents itself but you never seem to let that happen. When I do turn-fight with you I usually end up watching you from my parachute as you fly away and <S>. So thats why it seems like a B&Z robot. Yes its true I pretty much only fly the g10... its my favorite ride. When I see a Jug I know im in for one helluva good fight!! <S>
<S> to Towd too.

Dern and I had the most enjoyable turn fight tonite. I think it may have lasted 7-9 minutes? Me in a p51 and Dern in his 109. My flaps need oiled.
