I have updated my system to xp now, and have updated to the newest nvidia drivers (from the nvidia site, after I noticed this shake), and my screen has a little shake to it when I play. I have a ultra 770 32mb viper, used to work great under ME.  My fps is still up in the 70s just the shakes give me a headache.  I tried degaussing, but the problem only happens in AH anyway.  I have a 21" HP monitor that goes up to 1600Xwhatever at 85mhz, but I only run it at 800X600 at 85mhz and 32 bit.  Any Ideas?  WHen I bring the resolution in the game up or down it makes no difference. I also have the newest direct x.

processor is amd 1800+ and 256 mb ram.

It's not shaking, your refresh rate is just 60hz and with a screen that big it's absolutely horrible to watch.

Download the fix here (http://users.kymp.net/cable130/nvreffix-setup.exe) it works so that you install this program, run it and set 'all frequencies to 85hz or nearest' at the bottom of the screen. That way you wont a) have corrupt graphics after alt tab b) 60hz refresh rate while playing direct3d games.

Btw I hope you got XP pro not the home version.

Thanks mrsid.  I will try it.  Its not really a flicker though, but it may be.  I am used to seeing people with the 60hrz screen (ouch).  I did get the home edition, as I cant afford to dump all that money for the pro...

Great fix buddy :) that solved my alt tab problem too.
Somthimes i have to alt tab cause RW shuts down and then i had to go out and back in the game again befire, wich is not needed anymore hehe.
