i am going to use the integrated sound on my k7n420 board
are the drivers already loaded .
do i install the drivers if so what 's the name of the sound card this board uses.

the sound device is integrated in the south bridge, in this case named mcp (short for media and communications processor. add the extension -d if the chip offers dolby digital decoding).

drivers for your micro-star board are supplied by either nvidia via internet or your boardīs vendor via cd-rom, being labeled 'nforce unified driver package'. follow this link (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=nforce_drivers) to find the latest official release of these. dunno about the cd-rom tho, sry m8e! guess youīll just have to check the boardīs installation manual and the cd-roms that comes with it. good luck & chk 6, pilot ;))
