Title: Prob w/ latest download - help!

Just took the latest update.  The game won't run and I am receiving the following two errors:

The aceshigh.exe file is linked to missing export DSOUND.DLL:11

and a second the reflects my path to aceshigh followed by the message that "a device attached to the system is not functioning"

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have direct x 8.0a or higher?

Doh!   Read Pyro's post shortly after posting the above.  Thanks for responding.  I' dl'd DX 8.1 and all is running well.

I was having the same problem. I downloaded DirectX8.1 which solved that problem. Now my connection is very slow, and the cursor won't respond.
