My current joystick is about dead. Does anyone know when the Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar will be out?
I've sent Thrustmaster a email but I've yet to recieve a response.

March was the last ETA I heard.
You may want to stop by http://www.thrustmaster.com and visit their message forums to see what is being said there.
My money says they're having some manufacturing issues that need to be ironed out. They really are trying to do quite a bit with this stick that has never been done before.

Bummer I don't know if my joystick will last that long.
I thought it was supposed to be out much earlier than March, guess they are having some problems!

I think they are just running into the typical first-time release problems. An all metal grip design combined with the swappable stick feature and USB seem to be a bit more to handle than they originally expected.
I'm very curious to see what this final product will look like. I'll definately be buying one... though I'm far from believing it will be the end-all/be-all of joysticks... no matter what SOB says. Especially at ~$250 for the combo.
