Title: Officer's Club Decorations.....

Not having been in the military, I was hoping someone here could help me out with a question. I am looking to get my hands on an item that could be found in most WWII era Officer's Clubs, or bars, etc.

WHat I'm looking for is a large plaque that would hang on the wall and display the the squadron's insignia.

I already tried E-bay, but I don't know what something like this would be called.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this item would be called?

What squadron in particular?  Or what branch of the military?

I've had more luck looking under "Military Decals" than posters... and found a pretty good Navy site (http://www.planecrazyent.com/htm_web_pages/htm_decals/decals.htm) with decals of various sizes.  I haven't been able to find a similar AirForce site yet

I also found a site that will do custom plaques.. tho I can't imagine that costs anything I'd consider to be reasonable.  Tho... it is for a bar decoration and no expense should be spared;)

No squadron in particular. I'll try under decals, and check that site, AK. Thanks for the advice.

And being that it's for a bar....your right....spare no expense!!!:D
