Could not confirmation, but I would guess it's Gauben or Emden, possibly last one. WAG, anyway  :)

Hint....It saw service in the PTO, Came from Europe, and Was not British.

My guess from the hints would be:
Kirishima or her sister, Hiei,  ex- British battlecruisers up armed to battleship standard by IJN.

It's possibly the French flag battleship taken in 1911(?).  Wish my Weapons and Warefare books weren't packed. :rolleyes:
