If you havent seen already pyro is promising to look into other loadouts on the 190f8 (time permitiing) so i thought id put some of the loadout options up for you guys who dont really follow LW aircraft or never bothered buying book on the 'other' side :)
FW190f8:
In 1944 the fw190F-8 began rolling off the assembly lines, serving as thr ground-attack counterpart to the fw190a8 fighter. In virtually all detailed respects, it was identical to the A-8, but with its outboard cannons removed and fitted with an ETC 501 fuselage rack as standard. The fuselage MG131 machine guns were retained under a bulged armament panel, as well as the wing root MG151 cannons. The F-8 also had the option os carrying an extra aft fuselage 115 liter internal fuel tank. The fw190F-8 also featured the newly approved Grosse Bombelektrik weapons control system which allowed the pilot to select the release of his weapon stores or opt for full salvo during attacks.
Several Rustatzen were planned for the fw190F-8, as well as an impressive number of armament test beds. Some of the more notable were as follows:
R1 allowed for the addition of four ETC 50 underwing bomb racks for four SC 50(110lb) bombs.
R3 allowed for the installation of two underwing 30mm MK103 cannons with improved, tapered external pods.By this time, however, research with the MK103 cannon pods was being terminated and it is believed only two 190F-8s were so equipped.
WGr.28/32 Rockets were based on the unguided infantry rockets, these 280mm and 320mm blunt nosed projectiles were tested as underwing mounts against ground targets with little success.
Panzerschreck (tank terror) long triple tube underwing launchers for 88mm anti-armour projectiles.Although unsuccessful, this was one of several similar arrangements tested with alternate caliber weapons under different designations.
SG 113 Forstersonde was two aerofoil, vertical pylons passing through the inboard wings allowing for the downward firing of 75mm anti-armour projectiles (two tubes in each pylon)
This arrangement was similar in principle to the fuselage mounted, upward firing, triple tube...
SG 116 Zellendusche anti-bomber weapon tested for fw190A-8 fighters. Both weapons were triggered by a sensor which detected passing targets.
Panzerblitz (tank lightning) inspired by panzerschreck, these modified R4M air to air rockets were mounted under the outboard wings on flat launching pallets.(PB1) featured fixed fin 80mm projectiles requiring extended launch rails, whereas (PB2) featured folding fin rockets on more compact pallets.Six to seven of these weapons could be carried under each wing for anti-armour operations. The Fw190F-8 and F-9 used them operationally beginning in early 1945.
ok i cant type no more :) but there are loads of set ups.
Most were not used operationally but there are some crazy weapons that could be great fun to implement into AH :)
hope this is usefull........

Nice list, thanks.

Have you a photo of the SG 113 Forstersonde? I'd like to see how it was incorporated into the aircraft.
Cheers

Air-to-Air Missiles
R-B R4/M[/i]
The R4/M Orkan was the best Rocket that germany Build. 10.000 was build and the Allied lost 500 Planes on this Rockets.
April1945: 24 FW190 killed 40 B17 from a very large Bomber-Group without any losses. (Think the FW was A8 or D9) but can carry this Rockets to and many f8 saw Combat and get Kills w this Rockets.

Air-to-Air Missiles
R-K X-4[/i]
This was one of the first REAL Air-Air Missiles of the World. In the Last weeks of the War, German Planes (JU-88G, JU188L, FW190 V69 and 3 x FW190 F-8) flow Attacks on Allied Bomber-Groups. Pilots say there get Kills w this Rocktes, but all Books where destroyed.

R-B Panzerblitz 2[/i]
This wad the Famoust anti-tank Missile on German side.
22.03.1945, 11 FW F-8 was on Patroulflight on the Russian Front. After a few min flight they saw a big group of Russian T34 and other Vehicles. The 11 F-8 attacks the Russian wonly w Rocktes "Panzerblitz 2"
after the powerfull attack (only 2-3min.) 17 T34-85 and 15 other Vehicles was down.

Nice job Wulfmen. In the Panzerblitz post, I think the photo at top is Pb.2 with the shaped charge warhead, and the other photos are the Pb.1 with the original warhead. Both use the R4/M rocket and launcher, just with a different warhead.

i have many more Infos over Rüstsätze and other stuff for the F8 but its only in german :D :D

Ps: i need the 30mm Rüstsatz too

The differnez was the Attack-head (Is this the right name?)
The PB2 used a R4/M "Hohlladungssprengkopf" and PB1 used a "Minenkopf" (Minehead i think)
PB2 destroyed tanks w 180mm Armor w an Attack angle from 90°
That was No Problem for the Rocket.
W this Weapon in AH (12-16 Rockets) u get a good chance to stop GV attacks :D :D

1st picture shows mounting for PD 8.8 (I, two mounting styles), Panzerblitz (II), and Panzershreck (III). Note that PD 8.8 and Panzershreck launchers could be mounted on the standard ETC-50 racks, but Panzerblitz requires a different wing configuration.
This is the PD 8.8 launcher. Looks like mockup missiles though. Again note that launcher mounts to standard ETC-50 rack.

Of course, the thing to note about the R-B R4/M installations is that they weren't fired singly, but were fired all at once and formed a 'box/square' pattern in flight to increase the probability of striking the bomber. Which would be cool to have in AH :)
-
Sunny one of my books (I forgot which) says the Panzerblitz could be fired in pairs or all at once. I don't know about R4/M. Notice the launchers are different. 8 rockets for R4/M, 6 rockets for Pb.

just some load-out fun.

Yepp Funked :D
the PD8.8 is cool but they have many Problems w it.
same Problems was w PB1
The Plane must go under (i think) 375KmH to launch the Rockets. At this time the Jabo was very vunurable (is this right??) against enm fighters.
The PB2 can launch at higher Speeds.
The Bombload from the FW 190 F-8 in AH is not right too
they can carry 1x 1000 kg egg, but it was not used much.
Most loadout was 1x500kg and 2x250Kg under wings
or
1x500Kg and 8x50kg or 70Kg eggs

I read that the most common version was the Fw 190F-8/R1 we have in AH, with ETC 50 or ETC 71 bomb racks on the wings. This version could not carry 250 kg bombs on the wings.
To carry 250 kg bombs (or 300 l fuel tanks) on the wings, the ETC 503 rack was used, and the aircraft was designated Fw 190F-8/U1. To change from ETC 50 to ETC 503 required some serious surgery, and it wasn't something you could do in the field.
-
One Question??
What 262 we have in AH? is this the A1?
When we have the 262-A1 then i must say "Pyro plaese get the R4/M on this Plane too" :D :D
The 262 A-1 was Flying w 24 R4/m Rockets per Wing.
At one Time, the JV44 attacked a large Bomber Group (425 B17), after the Attack, 25 B17 was shot down and without any looses on the german side.
Think thats a great Weapon for me :D :D

We have Me 262A-1a with no R4/M. A-1b has R4/M. :)
R4/M would be a fun loadout option.

damn. damn, damn :(
That was not the answer i will hear :D
When u need infos from Ruhrstahl/Kramer X-4 Missile, here i get a good side in English w all technical informations about this weapon :D
http://users.visi.net/~djohnson/missile/x-4.html
but there are some missinformations (wrond datas) on the site. The FW-A8 is a FW190-F8/V69 (582072) or V70 (580229). According to my informations there were also three produktion F8-Planes with the RK X-4: 583431, 583438 and 584221
