The B36 is the second largest plane in the world, with the spruce goose being bigger.
Heres a neat fact- The thickest part of the wing root is 10 feet deep.  Now thats a huge wing!

Got the picture from this site.  http://www.ask.com/main/metaAnswer.asp?t=m&s=a&en=directhit&o=0&url=http%3A%2F%2Fask%2Edirecthit%2Ecom%2Ffcgi%2Dbin%2FRedirURL%2Efcg%3Furl%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecowtown%2Enet%2Fproweb%2FB36%5FHome%2Ehtm%26qry%3DB36%26rnk%3D1%26cz%3D3f1ae30942b03470%26src%3DDH%5FASK%5FSRCH%26u%3D&ac=-1&pt=Convair+B%2D36+Peacemaker+and+YB%2D60&dm=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecowtown%2Enet%2Fproweb%2FB36%5FHome%2Ehtm&io=0&qid=CA748007D32DFF42A3F7E060E0F34EAE&back=ask%3DB36%26o%3D0&ask=B36

You can drop stuff out of any plane but Mriya is not a bomber;).

My data seems a bit dated.  The B36 WAS the second biggest plane in the world for a while.  Then a few bigger ones came out.  However, its still the worlds biggest bomber.
