Did anyone else think that the use of 9/11 in the commercials and the halftime show of the Superbowl just a little degrading?
-
Nope!
With America's short term memory shot to hell, we need all the help remembering what the hell we are fightin for as we can get.
I found the actual list of the names dead very moving, considering they only made it to the "F"'s b they ran out of time.. :(

I was a little horrified by the whole halftime show...
Do we really need of aging European rockers to tell us how great our country is? The whole spectacle seemed cheesy and cheap to me, which are not adjectives that should be associated with the Sept. 11 victims.

Missed the half-time spectacle.
Instead, I decided to celebrate one of the best things about America...
I watched Fear Factor with Playboy Playmates.
:D

The only thing I liked was the Budwiser clidesdales kneeling before NY.
Well the satin sheets also!!!:D
The first use of the clidesdales were with the repeal of proabition, they drove them down wallstreet with the first load of beer for the mayor of NY city.

As I saw Bono lift up his jacket to reveal a U.S. Flag sewn in as the liner a tear came to my eye. Not.
I too found irony in the great patriotic renderings by two Europeans. I wonder what Bono's oppinion of our current dealings in Afghanistan are. I can't imagine Amnesty International is all to enthused.
I'm just ready for hollywood/television to stop trying to out-do themselves as far as 9/11 rememberance goes. I seriously doubt anything will ever stir me like in a manner that the events that day did. Of course, the "entertainers" will keep trying.
Of course, the Coup De Gras was Fox's ad for their new upcoming series: "U.S. Embassy".
