For the late nighters amongst us.....
You know you are addicted to coffee if...
You grind your coffee beans in your mouth.
You sleep with your eyes open.
You have to watch videos in fast-forward.
The only time you're standing still is during an earthquake.
You can take a picture of yourself from ten feet away without using the
timer.
You've worn out your third pair of tennis shoes this week.
Your eyes stay open when you sneeze.
You chew on other people's fingernails.
The nurse needs a scientific calculator to take your pulse.
You can type sixty words per minute with your feet.
You can jump-start your car without cables.
You don't sweat, you percolate.
You walk twenty miles on your treadmill before you realize it's not
plugged
in.
You forget to unwrap candy bars before eating them.
You've built a miniature city out of little plastic stirrers.
Instant coffee takes too long.
You channel surf faster without a remote.
You have a picture of your coffee mug on your coffee mug.
You short out motion detectors.
You don't even wait for the water to boil anymore.
You help your dog chase its tail.
You soak your dentures in coffee overnight.
Your first-aid kit contains two pints of coffee with an I.V. hookup.
You get a speeding ticket even when you're parked.
You answer the door before people knock.

True late-nighters know the way... dietary supplements containing ma huang and/or guarana... wash it down with a Red Bull.
-
can you get the red bull(kratendaeng, wrong spelling i know) in little brown bottles or squat gold cans? Its much better than the watered down crap they sell in supermarkets. I found that after constant comsumption my appetite dissapeared and I couldnt sleep even if i wanted to. Needless to say, I stopped drinking it.
-
I didn't say it was healthy. :D
-
does red bull really work?
man, i throw a coat on right over my jammies and walk down to get coffee in the morning. there's so many freaks on the street no one notices me anyway. don't know what i'd do without it.
i like lapsang suchong and earl grey teas too. lotsa caffeine
-
My standard diet these days is 2 red bulls and two V's a day (V is a guarana/taurine/packed with sugar drin).
But somehow I still lack energy :(
-
Red bull is just sugar and caffeine. Coffee with lots of sugar will have the same effect.
Daff

Yep...
Red Bull:
Red Bull is a non-alcoholic drink unique in its composition and effects.
It provides the body with taurine, glucuronolactone and caffeine, plus important vitamins and carbohydrates: a unique composition that had never been tried before.
Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid, which naturally occurs in the body. Relative taurine loss can occur in some physiological situations, such as high stress and physical exertion. Taurine acts as a metabolic transmitter and additionally has a detoxifying effect and strenghtens cardiac contractility.
Glucuronolactone is a substance found in the body which accelerates the elimination of both endogenic and exogenic noxae (harmful substances). So it too has a detoxifying effect.
Caffeine is known for its stimulating effect, clearly noted above all in the circulatory system and in the brain. The caffeine content in a 250 ml can of Red Bull is approximately that of a cup of filter coffee.
Carbohydrates: As an energy source, Red Bull contains carbohydrates almost exclusively in the form of sucrose and glucose. The energy value of a can of Red Bull is 480 kj (112 kcal).
Vitamins: The B-complex vitamins contained in Red Bull are essential for maintaining normal bodily functions and play a vital role in maintaining physical stamina.

Dude, you are overloading your system with crap. Stop drinking all that toejam, drink 8 glasses of water every day, a glass of fruit juice, and one cup of coffee in the morning if you like it.
You know what they say, 'cutting caffeine out of your diet is as good as taking an anti-depressant'.

Coffee makes me sleep...
In fact tea contains much more caffeine then coffee. Coffee only rises your blood pressure. People have different reaction on high blood pressure, some can't sleep after coffee, and some (like me) feel a different effect.

Its true that Red Bull, V, Lift Plus et al are no more than about 10 tablespoons of sugar and some caffeine. But damn they get the brain going. Especially if you cant drink much coffee(like me, makes me sick). Sadly, i love good black coffee. I love a good cup of Russian Caravan tea too.
Up until last week I was drinking 1-2 V's or lift pluses per day. They lack the taurine of RB but retain the other good stuff + gaurana and ginseng and B viatmins!(all of which are in tiny, useless amounts). Taurine btw is a derivative of cystine, my favourite amino acid. Cystine is a great hangover cure.
