Armament: 4x21" Torpedo Tubes (All forward), 1x3"A.A. Gun
FATE: Sunk in the Solomon Islands Area, Late 1942
P.S. Iceydee, no US WW2 Subs had net cutters on the bow.

Jpeg, That is not a "D" but a square shaped "O" = Ro Boat.
Japanese WW2 Submarines were built in classes for the mission they were to carry out.
I Class - 1st Line (Fleet Boats)
Ro Class - 2nd Line (Coastal or short range boats)
Ha Class - 3rd Line
