Title: P-47 pilot recovered 50+ yrs later
Post by: K West on February 14, 2002, 10:28:54 AM
I was searching the net for info on WWII aircraft crashes in my home state when I ran across this story about a USAAF P-47 pilot that lost his life in the Battle of the Bulge in Dec 44.

Was a real good read and I wanted to share it here:

(p.s. if the P-47 pilots had AH "MA" icons and "Dar" they never would have been jumped ;)  )
