New GeForce 4?

Friend is offering a great price on an Athlon system, just pondering what card to use.

Also wondering.... stay with Win2k or go XP Pro?

RIGHT NOW, it has to be the Radeon 8500 or the Geforce 3 Ti500.

As of March 7, it will be the Geforce 4 Ti4600 and I suggest you wait for that (up to 3 times faster than the current fastest)

We just got the geforce 4 ti4600 in today at work(gateway).  We put it on a 2.2 ghz p4 with 1g of mem, i did a 3mark on it i cant remember the exact numbers but it was in the 10,000 rank

i've been waiting since January.  another week or so isn't gonna bother me.  :)

tho I'd like an nforce 415D mb...  so might be waiting more than just a week.  depends on msi and asus.  ;)

for those of you who may be **poor** I just grabbed the geforce3 ti200 (64mb ddr) for 132 dollars.   Not worried about being behind the curve since my current viper 770 ultra is nearing 5 years old. (still gets me 50 fps and 75 when I look up in the pit).
