He's claiming to of not been involved in this I hear... but:
A) His entire "mythos" is based upon the need to destroy the USA. He says we are the head of the snake that must be cut to destroy the corrupt western world.
B) This leads to the fact that he is in a WAR... not some terrorist ideal to get land or free somebody thus he will lie,cheat or steal to achieve his objectives.
C) The only nation that really wants him is Afganistan. If his actions lead to a strike on that country that topples the hardcore muslium regime there that supports him then he's screwed... even in the Arab world.
D) He's a big threat regardless and needs to die... period.

I agree, Bin Laden needs to go.
The Taliban says that they have him in custody and have separated him from his ability to wage terror. This is good.
However they also say that they will not turn him over unless we can provide proof that he is responsible. This is very, very bad. :mad:

If they truly have Bin Laden in custody, they need to turn him over owing to his admitted responsibility for the previous attack on the towers. The clock is ticking, and you can bet your last dollar that patience is going to be a thing of the past.

If it is Bin Laden, we aren't going to get just Bin Laden.
This time we won't stop until we have Bin Laden and all his insane sub-human cronies.

Odd they claim he's been in custody and unable to conduct operations, but then they and he take credit for suicide bombers on the Norther Alliance just last week?

Well, you heard the Prez say that there will be no distinction made between the terrorists, and the people who harbor them. If Afghanistan is claiming they have Bin Laden in custody, but won't hand him over, even yesterday's attack aside we have claimed the right to attack who is holding him. I hope Bin Laden was the one behind yesterday's horrors, so we can get that animal once and for all.
