Hi,
I have IE 6 and am running it on a win 98 formated system. I find that the browser stops at random times. There is no indication of ANY activity on the internet either incoming or outgoing according to the ZoneAlarm icon during these times. It's simply like the program simply freezes for about 30 to 90 seconds. This has only started happening since I upgraded to IE 6 in the last few months. It ONLY happens with the browser as the online games I play are unaffected. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this and how to eliminate the freezes????
Thanks in advance
Mav

http://www.lavasoft.de/aaw.html
Works pretty good in removing spyware.

No guys, it isn't spyware. I have the lavasoft installed and screen my system. According to the icon for Zonealarm NOTHING is happening at all. No transmissions are being made either way. That is what is so freaking strange, it is just like a lock up but the puter isn't frozen, just the browser. sigh

Not the same but annoying as hell, last 4 to 5 weeks if i browse with IE6 before playing AH then comp locks solid everytime within 10 minutes, never fails.
If i just log on and play AH hence avoiding IE6 use, then i have no problems, plays for hours.
