Title: Puter locks up when starting Offline Mode

Online works fine? but starting Offline makes my puter lock up usually having me to unplug puter :(

Any Ideas?

Need a lot more information in order to help.  Lets have your system specs, OS version, driver versions, DX version, and any other pertinent details.  Did this just start to happen, and if so what changes have you recently made?

PIII 500MHZ
S3 Savage 4 Pro 16Mb Bitflip
DX 8.0
128 Mb RAM


If you ask me I think it has something to do with my terrain for Offline mode. Maybe the terrain currently being used in my offline mode is not working properly. Because it doesnt explain why I can play online.

Also my Icons are stll garbled and hardly readable. It dosnt bother me but it can be confusing. I have tried everything to fix the icons but I can not fix them.

Ok, now what resolution and color depth are you attempting to run AH at?

Also, try upgrading to DX 8.1, and then update your sound and video drivers as well.

Do you know what terrain it's trying to load in offline mode?

Un-installing AH and re-installing a fresh download may fix the problem as well.
