I don't usually post on resets, but yesterdays battle on NDIsles was amazing.
Just when you thought the Knights were dead meat, they pushed back hard, staying alive just a wee bit longer.
Bish destroyed all fuels and troops at the remaining 5 bases so it was pretty much impossible to regain any ground. I can't recall seeing so many suicide low-alt B17 and B26 attacks against fuel depots.
But at any rate, it was a hard fought win for the Bish. Congrats

Probably it was the longest day I stayed with AH ever. Reason were bishops won 3 maps in last rotation, and I really wished it to be all 4 :) But at the start it did not looked any promissing.
When I logged bishops had 4 fields, no home island, and knights outnumbered us 2:1. So I was sure it gone, because nits could finish us in 20 minutes. Considering that hq lay in ashes it were not that difficult.
But I found that nits turned to fight rooks which considering they had much more fields were strange... For same reason I could not get why rooks are kept attacking us... After all we went down to 2 fields, and with 24 not ours 25 is always easy to get with gv's. It was clear that 25 will go soon, so does reset, so me and Lazerr got tiffie and goon for NOE sneak to vehicle field. Another thing were clear that if vh down there we are gone, because we needed it up to storm field... Acks down, troops away, vehicle field is ours. Vh still up, acks at town of nearby field are down. Just in time, because we lost 25 3 minutes after, which left us with 1 air and 1 vehicle field.
Then it was fast gv run, lot of missions, recapture of home island, push to the west, missions again, whines, kills, dead fh's, closed fields, clouds of b26s and goons, counter from rooks at North, gap of 3 fields between rooks and bishops, whines, nits recaptures, bishops runs, and time for me to go to bed, because I personally was just exasted. Wish I saw that reset :)
I do not remember so dramatic change of situation, such a good team work from bishops, and myself beeing so fed up with AH ;) So I think I will make a break till 1.09 to rest from AH a little bit. :)

You forgot to mention bish outnumbered rook and nit combined by the reset, well, near as damnit ;) Good work to hang on though.
One out of many things that struck me when I saw about 20 bish b26's over the poor nit base, and forgive me for going off-topic, is god help us all if the x4 buff multiplyer is ever introduced. If they all drop to straffe after bombing (as has been my experience recently) forget vulching, there won't be enough air space to lift off.
To compensate for this nightmare vision of the future, if there is any way to turn friendly collisions on for buffers if x4 is introduced. Probably 2/3's would crash and burn en route and the final 1/3 when jostling for the best vulch position. Talk about spectacular.

Must admit that this was the longest and the hardest day for me in AH as well... When I loged on we (Bishops) were down to 2 fields and we had 15 people online. Knights and Rooks they both had over 30 players each. Our HQ was down all the time being killed by the Knight riders who were owning our whole home island...
It was a struggle for survival and I remember when we lost 24 and 25 to rooks we were pretty down.... GAME OVER messages and stuff liket hat on country channel were no exception... But thanks to Fariz and Lazerr we managed to concentrate and regained the momentum. And during the day we managed to liberate our home island and we repayed the Knights with the same... We conquered their home island.... Most spectacular operation in this effort was a mission of 20 bombers with full fighter cover which overrun A15 the last Knights high alt base. But during that time Rooks started to take our fields and Knights started to take Rook's fields... I must say tahat I loged because I could not fly any more...
The very next day I was told that we won the war 20 minutes after I left... Oh well...
to all Knights was a great fight!

Screenshot of a formation of 25 B-26's from one of Fariz's missions. A fun moment was when we all dove down through the clouds and appeared over a knight base. I wonder how that looked from the ground, hehe.

hehe...
Funny how things appear, because when I logged on the Knights were already pushed into a corner.
The Rooks were attacking on our north front and the Bish were attacking on our east front. The Bish and the Rook were not attacking each other in any significant numbers.
Made the whole affair appear to be just a another normal AH gangbang.
