I need much less runaway to takeoff after first refuel/reload than just the first time (same flaps, same trimming)?
That is, I pick up a 262, go to runaway, no flaps, nose trimmed fully up, max power and the plane needs 2/3 of the runaway to get airborne alone, after refuelling (same field) it gets airborne alone (no joy input) at 1/2 of the runaway.

Look at the engine thrust gauges (aka, the "RPM" in props).
When you first take off, it takes them about 8 seconds to reach full power. So when u take off the first time, turn on engine and full throttle, your 262 will be chugging along for the first 8 secs at lower power setting until the engines get max thrust and you take off. When you rearm your engines will be closer to max thrust setting because you needed to taxii, so you had at least 4 seconds shaved off the full power setting by the time you started to roll on the runway.

Every time I take off, I first engange brakets till rpm get to maximum at max throttle.

it has been my experience that this is the case with ALL planes.

You people take planes loaded fresh from the hanger and then thrash them into the air on cold engines?
Gamers.
