Title: Graphic problems

Hello
I am experiencing a strange graphic related problem in AH.
When I alt-Tab to desktop and then go back to AH, some of the graphics are missing, such as dots on radar, propeller spinners etc.
I have a TNT 32 meg card and the newest Direct x. Wonder if I have to reinstall the DirectX or if this is a settings problem
All help appreciated.  :)

What version of the nVidia Detonator drivers are you running?  What OS?

Most times if you have a TnT level card, the newer drivers won't work very well.  I'd try the 7.58's for Win2k/XP and the 7.78's for Win9x/ME.  If that doesn't solve it, start stepping up through the WHQL certified drivers until something works.  With that card though, you'll want to stay with much earlier versions of the Detonators.

BTW, it worked perfectly untill a week ago, then it suddenly started this:confused:
I used to fly AH on an old P200 with a 16 meg banshee card, - same thing there.

Well...
I am using XP with the latest build. GeForce 2MX 400, with 64megs mem. I have the latest 23.85 drivers, and I have tried everything available in bettween, in terms of drivers. Certified or not.
I to still have the Alt-tab and return graphics fault. I have tried every possible tweak I can do in the properties appelet. No joy!
So what now???

For you running XP or W2k you need to install and run this (http://users.kymp.net/cable130/nvreffix-setup.exe) and set all frequencies to 85hz or closest match..

That way both your desktop and game will run at 85hz refresh and you will no longer get corrupt graphics after alt-tab. It also fixes the 60hz refresh rate in the d3d.

Then just make sure you run your desktop at the same resolution and color depth as AH.

Lots of people report problems with those 23.x drivers.
