Title: what software to predict your connection??

Any shareware software that I can use to find out exactly my connection speed  download and upload.  I was told my connection will be around 1500k/124.  It sure will beat my 56k connection I had to put up since i got into computers.  Man  I am so happy we finaly got this in my area.

Check out The All Seeing Eye.  It has a bandwidth check in it's setup.

This is all going to depend on more than just your connection though, the rest of the net between you and the test site will affect the results as well.

Go to http://www.dslreports.com, they have free network analysis tools for packet loss, security checks and speed..

I reckommend.
