Title: Range of Ostwind and flak

What's the range of a Ostwind's main gun?
What's the range of the M-16 .50ca?
What's the range of field flak?

I cannot find this information any where. Someone please tell me or tell me where to find it.

Hmm not sure if that info is posted anywhere...

The Osti can take a plane down at ranges up to d3.4  though good luck hitting at that range.
The M-16 .50's you are looking at closer to d1.4

I THINK the field flak range is similar to the Osty, not sure though

Range on field guns?,  I have been pinged and taken damage at 7k from ack for sealevel bases and CVs.   Osties? been hit at 1.5, not sure after that because no icon range, but they have fired at me further than 1.5 and sometimes I get hit, but if I can see them shooting I usually can avoid the rounds and not get hit.

I was referring to the player mannable field guns.

The AI ACK can hit ya up to 8k ish, the FLAK up to 40k

When the Osty first arrived Torquila and I did some testing. In horozontal fire the Osty could hit out to 2,700 yards. We didn't test the verticle capabilities but from what I hear, the range is increased by some 500+ yards...why I don't know. The 37mm bow mounted gun on the PT has very short horozontal range of less than 2,200 yards, at least that's my experience. The 40mm Bofors gun on the aft deck has a horozontal range of around 3,400 yards but dispersion is a problem at extreem ranges, I hold fire 'till 2,600yds. These numbers may not reflect the actual arena settings but from my experience they are close.

20mm Flak 38. mec - 2200m

37mm Flak 18, 36, 37. mec - 4800m

37mm Flak 43. mec - 4800m

50mm Flak 41. mec - 3050m

20mm Oerlikon.  mec - 1100m. max range - 4400m

Maxson Mount (.5"). mec -  ~1000m

40mm US Mk3. mc - 7000m, max range - 10,000m
