Hi,
Any UK or Euro people with BBC reception, just to let you know that the WW2 film '633 Squadron' based on an actual Mosquito raid, is on BBC2 today (Saturday 2nd) at 5.25 GMT.
Saw it as a kid and it blew my Winnie the Pooh socks off.
Cheers

There's a snapshot based on it today at 3pm EST.

Yeah, I saw some of it. The mossies were actually the bomber variant made to look like the FB with hard nose.
Additionally 633 Sqn never existed in real life.... but hearing those merlin engines sure made up for it!! :)

Hi,
Well time certainly changes your perspectives, my socks stayed firmly on this time. Guess we're all spoiled with digital effects as the sight of a balsa wood model Mosquito being thrown at a paper mache cliff didn't really cut it this time.
Also, interesting to see the German Stork recon plane getting involved in firefights ;) Did you see it vulch that mossie?
Cheers
